Crashing into Middle-earth
The Froggy Float turned out to be a lot of fun! I got a nice tan out of the deal too! The whole Froggy crew was there. James, Al, Sue, Gary, Brooke and all their families. There must have been some sort of mix up w/the judging though. We weren't voted best float! Odd...
The Fireman's Ball was interesting. We were on the stage, which seemed like the logical place to put the band, but one verse into the first song we all knew why Black Water had parked in the middle of the dance floor. It was hotter than Hades on that stage. There wasn't a breeze in the world. Right when I was sure that I was going to die of heat my dad and Steve drug a giant fan over to the stage. They may have saved our lives. I was told the crowd had a good time but I couldn't see them either. The dance hall was too hot so they were all outside listening and dancing! Got a lot of compliments so I'm just going to believe them.
When we finally got home, Travis, Andy and I turned on Lord of the Rings and crashed. We have tonight off and thank goodness...I can barely move today. I think the only things I accomplished were eating, sleeping and calling my Grandma. It was a good day.
