Party time!

Our first time at the North Platte Shooters was a blast! There were going away parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, schools out parties and just party parties. We had a great crowd both nights. (In part thanks to McNicki for the free advertisement! We'll see you in Lincoln Nicki!)

The band stayed at the Stanford which seemed to be vacant other than us. With no one to wake we had ourselves a great party atmosphere. We stayed up late enough to get Travis picking out tunes to sing. Don't tell us lies about being a terrible singer...we may never believe you again! Denise and I got to hear Travis sing for the first time in Red Oak. Everyone loved his voice! Hmmm...maybe a little too much. I should really start to rethink asking people to sing... ;)

Anyway, North Platte. The ride wouldn't have been so bad if we hadn't just finished a 24 hour round trip to Nashville. At first I was going alone. Then I convinced Denise to go with me. Then Bob mentioned that he would like to go. Next thing I know Andy is going too! It made the drive much much better with the extra help. In fact, our Suburban was a regular party bus!

We had a ton of fun and Denise and I even wrote a few more songs as well. Rick Tiger was kind enough to hook us up with some of his writers. We decided that one of the songs will be a movie sound track...any takers??? Seagal? Spielberg? Michael Bay? There is only one more Croaky Karaoke competition left so if you haven't won yet come on out to Risky's in Beatrice. Don't miss the finale at Fat Nappy's on Thursday night either! Hope to see you all then!

Oh...don't forget! It's our first time at Ron's Pub this Friday so come on out! We might even have the winner of the Croaky competition join us at the pub to sing their winning song. Stay tuned!
